About Handled
Why it exists
Handled was built by Justin, a helicopter pilot and founder. He loves his people. He also kept missing their birthdays. So he built autopilot for them, and then opened it up for everyone else who has the same problem.
What Handled does
You add your people and their dates once, from your phone contacts, a calendar file or by hand, with a detail or two about each person. Reminders are free.
If you don’t get to it, autopilot (which you turn on per person and date) writes a personal card from your notes and emails you a heads-up about ten days before mailing. Tap “Looks good”, “Edit message” or “Skip this one”. If you don’t skip it, the card is charged to your saved card and mailed: written with a real pen, in a hand-addressed envelope, stamp included.
Dates in memory of someone always wait for your OK. And if you just need a card today, you can send one right now in the studio.
How we think about it
- The card should sound like you, because it comes from what you know about them.
- You stay in charge: skip, edit, pause or cancel in one tap.
- Pay per card. No subscription.
- Your people’s details are used to write their cards, and nothing else.
Handled works for client cards too. See Handled for business, or read how it works.
