handled.

Real cards. Real pen. Zero remembering.

You might forget. We won’t.

Birthdays, anniversaries, Mother’s Day — handled.

Add your people and their big days once. We’ll remind you, and if life gets busy, we’ll write a real handwritten card for their birthday or anniversary and mail it for you.

Reminders are free. You only pay when a card is sent.

Sound familiar?

  • “HBD!!” at 11:58 pm

Technically on the day. Technically. You both know what happened.

  • The gas-station card

Picked between the jerky and the windshield fluid. Signed on the steering wheel. Bold choice.

  • Finding out from your mother-in-law

She’s very kind about it. That somehow makes it worse.

  • The client milestone that slipped

One year since closing. You meant to say something. Your inbox had other plans.

How it works

  1. 1

    Import your dates

Pull in birthdays from your phone contacts or a calendar file, or add people by hand. Do it once. Reminders are free.

Import from your phone or calendar →
  2. 2

    Add a detail or two

The inside joke, the team they won’t stop talking about, the new job. That’s what makes the card sound like you instead of a greeting card aisle.

  3. 3

    Turn on autopilot

Pick the people and dates you want covered. If you don’t get to it, we write the card from your notes, email you a heads-up about ten days before it mails, and send it unless you skip it.

The heads-up

Nothing mails without a heads-up first.

About ten days before a card goes out, you get the message, the price and the mail date. Do nothing and it’s handled.

Built for busy guys

  • Founders

You remember every deadline at work. The ones at home deserve the same system.

  • Guys who travel for work

Airport, hotel, another airport. The card still gets there on time, with a real stamp.

  • Dads

Between practice, pickups and the group chat, the dates take care of themselves.

  • Sons

Mom’s birthday. Handled. Mother’s Day too. She gets a card in your words, in the mail.

  • The friend who’s always late

For once, you’re early. Nobody needs to know how.

Why I built this

I’m a helicopter pilot and a founder. I love my people. I also kept missing their birthdays.

So I built autopilot for them. I add someone once, with a detail or two. Handled reminds me, and if I still don’t get to it, it writes a personal card from my notes, gives me a heads-up so I can read it or skip it, and mails a real card written with a real pen.

If you love your people but can’t keep their dates straight, it’s built for you too.

Questions

Will it sound like me?
Each card is written from the details you gave us about that person, in the tone you pick, signed with your name. It also looks at what you sent them before so it doesn’t repeat itself. You can change any word before it mails.
Do I approve every card?
Your call, person by person and date by date. With autopilot on, you get a heads-up email about ten days before mailing and the card goes unless you skip it. With autopilot off, nothing mails until you tap “Looks good”. Dates in memory of someone always wait for your OK.
What if I ignore the heads-up?
If autopilot is on for that person and date, the card is charged to your saved card and mailed on the date in the email. If it’s off, nothing is sent and nothing is charged.
How much does it cost?
Reminders are free. Cards are pay-per-card, from $5.95, stamp included. No subscription. You’re only charged when a card actually mails.
Can I skip, pause or cancel?
Anytime. Tap “Skip this one” in any heads-up, pause one person or everyone in one tap, or cancel. A card that isn’t sent is never charged.
What dates can I add?
Birthdays, anniversaries, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, the holidays each person celebrates and any other yearly date you want covered. Import them from your phone contacts or a calendar file, or add them by hand.
Is this for business too?
Yes. Upload a client list and put client birthdays, closing anniversaries and thank-yous on autopilot. Each card is written individually and you approve them together in one grid. See [Handled for business](/business).
